Three Barrels
Three Barrels is a French Grape Brandy that was first registered in Jarnac, France in 1862 (although references exist as far back as 1814).
Today Three Barrels is one of the leading brandy brands here in the UK and is enjoyed by over 1 million consumers annually.
HOW IS IT MADE?
The best grapes are selected from the sun drenched slopes of the most prestigious French wine areas. Mainly white grape varieties are used as these produce the finest brandy. With the finest grapes sourced the must (grape juice) is then fermented into wine from which the young distillate (Eaux-de-vie) is produced.
Post distillation of the wine the resulting young Eaux-de-vie is aged and matured in French oak casks according to law, tradition and the requirements of the Three Barrels master blender. Once the brandies have reached their peak the master blender begins the meticulous art of creating a marriage of brandies that complement one another producing a style and balance that typifies Three Barrels.
Every Three Barrels brandy is a blend of at least 20 Eaux-de-Vie ensuring the consistent style and high quality expected of Three Barrels. For more information check out www.three-barrels.com
